Restorative Justice (RJ)

In our workshops, we focus on RJ education where participants, when there’s harm or conflict, RJ asks three guiding questions:

“Who has been harmed?”

“What are their needs?”

“Who is responsible to meet those needs?”

Restorative Justice (RJ) is an ancient approach to resolving community and interpersonal conflict. When there’s harm or conflict, RJ asks three guiding questions:

“Who has been harmed?”

“What are their needs?”

“Who is responsible to meet those needs?”

Circles are used to facilitate the process where all parties, including community members, tell their stories and a solution to the issue is sought.

In our workshops, we focus on RJ education where participants learn about circle processes, RJ values and principles, interconnections of all, impact of harm, empathy, accountability, etc. This is done through interactive exercises and role plays that make learning effortless and fun.
