The VOO Women’s Workshop was an empowering initiative by the Center for Hope and Empowerment Kenya (CHEK) designed to create a safe and supportive space where women can learn, connect, grow, and discover their potential.
Empowering women
CHEK creates a supportive space where women gain practical skills, knowledge, and encouragement to take charge of their lives and contribute positively to their communities.
Building confidence
Through training, mentorship, and connection, CHEK helps women discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and develop the confidence to pursue their goals.
Creating opportunities
CHEK connects women with skills, ideas, and opportunities that can support entrepreneurship, economic independence, and a more sustainable future.

VOO Women’s Workshop
Through practical training, mentorship, skills development, and meaningful conversations, the workshop equips women with knowledge and tools to strengthen their livelihoods, build confidence, and become positive change-makers within their families and communities.
The workshop brought Women in Voo, Kitui county together to share experiences, develop new skills, explore opportunities, and encourage one another.
At CHEK, we believe that when women are empowered with the right knowledge, resources, and support, they can create lasting change for themselves, their families, and future generations.
